The Universal Conveyor Pulley Lifter consists of twin, pivoted, “C” shaped members made from forklift, tyne type material. It is capable of lifting pulleys, either on top of, or beneath the horizontal bars with high strength, R.U.D. pink chain strands and is readily adjustable to cover a very wide range of pulley shapes and masses up to 10 tonnes S.W.L. The lifter is specially designed for access into very restricted spaces, particularly many metres in height above ground.

Apart from maintenance activities, such a device is also particularly suited to use by the constructors of new conveying systems due to the significant savings in time, rigging and crane costs, which may be achieved, compared to conventional rigging practices. Safer working conditions are also enhanced.
